About Bridget Ziegler

Bridget Ziegler was appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott to the Sarasota County School Board on June 6, 2014. She is a businesswoman, active member of the community, wife and mother of a young child.
In addition to serving on the Sarasota County School Board, Bridget is a Commercial Producer for Al Purmort Insurance responsible for managing the agency's commercial accounts and facilitating new business development. In her position, she is continually communicating and engaging with countless business owners and community leaders throughout Sarasota County.
In addition to her business career, Bridget is an active member of the community. She has been involved with numerous organizations across Sarasota County such as Childrens First, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Goodwill-Manasota, Asolo Repertory Theater, The Gulf Coast Builders Exchange (GCBX) and she is excited to serve as the Co-chair of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Program.
In 2012, Bridget was recognized by the Gulf Coast Business Review as one of the region's up and coming business leaders" as she appeared on their "40 under 40" list for her involvement in both business and the community.
When they aren't attending community events, Bridget and her husband Christian enjoy taking their daughter Reagan to the amazing parks and beaches across Sarasota County.
